New season lambs made an appearance at Charlton last Thursday and were well received. Heavy lambs and ewes sold to strong demand, though lighter types were less popular.
Medium prime hoggets were steady for most at $165-$180, while lighter lines eased to $120.
Medium prime ewes softened to $180-$200, as did lighter types back to $115.
