There was around 12,000 ewes on offer at the Ongarue ewe fair last Tuesday. Buyers mostly came from the Waikato, Taihape and locally to compete for top quality ewes. There were exceptional capital stock Romney ewes on offer, with 2th earning $250-$302 and 4th just above this at $260-$316.
