Three-year Hereford bulls, 728-777kg, sold for $3.28-$3.32/kg Two-year Angus steers, 497kg, made $2.80/kg Yearling Hereford-Friesian steers, 319-354kg, made $3.12-$3.20/kg Yearling Jersey bulls, 299-330kg, returned $3.06/kg to $3.39/kg Prime lambs made $80-$170

Ex-service bulls were the main feature at Rangiuru last Tuesday. Two-year Hereford, 668-693kg, were $3.23-$3.29/kg with Jersey, 486-556kg, $2.86/kg to $3.11/kg. Angus-Jersey dominated the 2-year steer pens and at 505kg made $2.77/kg. Most yearling steers were Hereford-Friesian with the top cut, 299kg, at $3.39/kg. 
Prime volume was low at 66 head. Hereford-Friesian steers, 622kg, sold to $3.01/kg, and dairy-types $2.83/kg to $2.99/kg. Boner cows lost ground as 435-524kg pens traded from $1.72/kg to $1.95/kg.
