Yearling Traditional steers, 263-278kg, eased to $3.06/kg, as did Angus-Friesian, 348-424kg, down to $3.09-$3.22/kg. Hereford-Friesian, 235-280kg, returned $3.23-$3.47/kg, while Friesian and Friesian-cross steers, 215-306kg, managed $2.37-$2.54/kg.
Yearling Angus-Friesian heifers, 230-385kg, softened to $2.87-$2.99/kg, and Hereford-Friesian, 349kg, dropped away to $2.84/kg.
Autumn-born weaner beef-cross and exotic-cross bulls, 168-226kg, returned $640-$650, with Hereford-Friesian, 225kg, a step up at $750.
