Lighter cross-bred steers sold for $1050-$1180 at $2.65-$2.80/kg, and boner cows returned $1.51-$1.77/kg, which tidied up the adult cattle section.
Yearling steers were the main feature with a good mix for buyers.
Medium cross-bred made $870-$1050 with lighter types earning $635-$780; lesser off-types fetched $400-$620.
Heifers were limited to very light cross-bred at $600-$710, lesser types $400-$405.
Weaner prices were strong for the better types and the pens consisted of cross-bred steers at $425-$665; the best of the heifers made $405-$545.
Very small steers sold for $190-$290.
