Good prices continued to encourage lambs to sale, with most of the yarding off the large high-country stations. The edge did come off the market slightly but the lambs were in very good order, with not many lighter lambs offered.
Most fetched $75-$85, though heavy male lambs reached $91.50-$94.50.
Prime sheep numbers were marginally better than last week’s small offering. A handful of prime lambs made $75-$100. A small number of mixed-age ewes managed $78-$82, males $71-$80.
