Milk production in May was 23.97% higher than last year, where production reached 580,000 tonnes.
For the 2012-13 season, a total of 19.5 million tonnes of milk was produced. Milk flows in 2013-14 of 21.3 million was 9.27% higher.

Latest DCANZ data shows milk production in May of 719,000 tonnes bringing the 2013-14 season total to 21.3 million tonnes.
