Store lamb numbers crept up to 1900, and most were light to medium mixed sex at $52-$69. A small top end sold to $77-$90, while one line of cryptorchid hoggets made $135.
Hoggets with lambs at foot sold in a handful of small lines to limited interest at $53-$64.
It was a quiet week in the cattle rostrum with just 117 offered. The local buying bench was competitive and 2-year Angus, and Angus-Hereford heifers, 457-465kg, made $2.97-$3.06/kg. Similar weighted Hereford-Friesian earned $3.02-$3.03/kg. One line of older Hereford-cross steers made $3/kg, 2-year Angus & Angus-Hereford bulls $2.76/kg, Friesian $2.65/kg.
